Mr. Barry Simmons is a highly motivated Senior Project Manager and Consultant with EDS where he provides expertise in application development and information technology (IT) consulting. Mr. Simmons has worked for key organizations in the public and private sectors both nationally and internationally for 17 years.
Starting his career as a computer programmer, he made the gradual move to the "business side" of the IT industry. He has held a number of management positions, including Product Manager and Manager of Technical Services. In 2001, he achieved his Masters in Business Administration (MBA) to complement his Computer Science degree. He attained his Project Management Professional (PMP) designation in 2002, which was followed in 2003 when he became an Information Systems Professional (ISP).
In his spare time, he is an active member of the Milestone Elks, Milestone Refugee Committee, and coach/co-founder of the Milestone Soccer Organization.
