The first two days of the conference consisted of a combination
of one and two-day seminars geared to sharpening your project
management skills. The third day commenced with a breakfast
speaker, followed by a series of one-hour white paper presentations
and concluded with a networking dinner and presentation by
Mike Lipkin, this years' Keynote Speaker.

AGENDA
- The agenda include links to the paper presentations presented
at the conference.

SEMINARS
- This year we were pleased to offer an additional choice of
seminars. Participants could attend either of the two-day seminars
being offered, which are Recovering
Troubled Projects or Constructive
Project Negotiations. Both of these seminars highlighted
critical skills required when dealing with stakeholders. There
were also four different one-day options being offered to participants.
Three one-day seminars titled Contracts
and Procurement, Effective
Estimating, and Leadership
and Team Management
focused on best practise techniques. New this year, was an exciting
one-day experiential learning opportunity, Lord
Devon's Demise and Gold of the Desert Kings
where attendees will applied vibrant learning experiences to
real-world situations.

| SYMPOSIUM
- The third day of our conference
followed a symposium format consisting of breakfast
and keynote
speakers and a series of one-hour paper
presentations. The day began with a continental breakfast
and Bob McGannon and Denise DeCarlo speaking on Intelligent
Disobedience: The Difference Between Good and GREAT Project
Managers. Throughout the day there was a series of paper presentations
from local project managers, PMI Chapter members and recognized
industry leaders. The day concluded with a networking dinner
and keynote address by motivational speaker, Mike Lipkin, author
of Luck Favours the Brave. |
