Reasons to volunteer are numerous:

• Contributing back to the community

• And you can't forget PDUs

The number of PDUs for volunteering depends on the length of volunteer time.

As of February 2006 the following volunteer activities provide PDUs:

1. Serve as an officer for a project management organization.
   • Minimum three months of participation. Two PDUs per calendar year.
   • Minimum six months of participation. Five PDUs per calendar year.
   • Twelve months of participation. Ten PDUs per calendar year.
2. Serve as a committee member for a project management organization.
   • Minimum three months of participation. One PDUs per calendar year.
   • Minimum six months of participation. Three PDUs per calendar year.
   • Twelve months of participation. Five PDUs per calendar year.
3. Provide project management related services to a community or charitable group (5 PDUs per year)

• Monthly Chapter Luncheon meetings
• Monthly LIG Breakfast meetings
• And other strategic initiatives!
